It is very important in Pilates to be completely relaxed in order to get the best out of our exercise. We must try to leave any stresses we may have encountered through our day behind, and not bring them to the session.
Pilates is a mental and physical programme aiming to train both body and mind. We must concentrate on positioning and alignment until these responses become automatic.
